Each governor attends a committee group and works with school staff to develop one area linked to the curriculum or other areas linked to running the school effectively.
Governing Body is made up of governors, 1 local authority governor, 1 staff governor, 3 co-opted governors.
Governing Body Meetings
These take place each half term and we discuss and make decisions about: -
- Development/progress of the school improvement plan.
- Managing the school budget.
- School staffing requirements.
- Monitoring children's progress.
- The quality of teaching and learning.
- Safeguarding/Child Protection.
- Special educational needs.
- Health and safety/Premises management.
- Policy reviews.

Finance Committee
Monitors and evaluates school services. It also makes decisions about how the budget is allocated and what staffing is needed to run the school effectively.

Teaching and Learning
This committee discusses the quality of teaching and learning in the school. It also provides governors with an opportunity to find out about the family services being delivered within the school.
